About

I joined Carlmont's journalism program because I have always been interested in the news and wanted to explore the stories of people around me. Journalism has given me the opportunity to talk to experts and people with perspectives that I would not have otherwise encountered.

Besides journalism, I am also the vice-president of Carlmont's Mock Trial Club. I joined Mock Trial freshman year and have met many amazing people through the club and learned so much about the judicial system.

I am the co-president of Carlmont's Junior State of America chapter, which I also joined freshman year for an outlet to discuss current political issues with other civically engaged youth.

In my (limited) free time, you can find me reading, switching back-and-forth between five Netflix shows, baking to satisfy my sweet tooth, and playing badminton.
